The people of Milton Keynes are in for a treat this year, with the first annual Pride:MK event taking place on 14th September 2019 in Campbell Park!

This event is an accessible and family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas – from Alan Turing to our teachers, artists, doctors, parents and business people who are all part of what makes Milton Keynes a thriving place to live.

As one of the biggest employers in the area, we are delighted to confirm Santander as our Headline Sponsor!

Susan Allen, Head of Retail and Business Banking and LGBT+ Executive Sponsor for Santander UK said, “This year marks 50 years since the Stonewall Riots and 31 years since the enactment of Section 28, which banned UK schools from speaking openly about homosexuality. Supporting events such as this is one way Santander can show our commitment to inclusion & equality. We want all our customers and colleagues to feel safe, valued, and able to be their true selves.”

Pride:MK is a community organised project, and funds raised on the day will go towards Q:alliance, MK’s only LGBTQ+ charity, to help fund vital works in the local community.

Come and find the black Hopping Hare gazebo, we will be producing a special limited edition candle to celebrate the first Pride:MK event
